Strange Triangle

Tracks of your Years

The Triangle were formed in Doncaster as a three piece back in 2003, playing various venues throughout Yorkshire Lincolnshire, Notts and beyond, most notably on the Thames at Christmas 2003 and again in 2009. They are regulars at the Doncaster and Howden Beer Festivals and at venues such as The Regent, The Windmill in Thorne, The Blue Bell Hatfield, The Salutation and Horse and Groom in Doncaster town centre and anywhere else that will have them! Strange Triangle became a four piece with the addition of Mick Phillipson on Bass guitar, vocals and rock star poses, no one is quite sure when Mick joined the band, he just did! The Triangle play an eclectic mix of acoustic and electric music, from rock to pop and roots to blues. The Beatles to Snow Patrol, Ryan Adams to Paul Weller, Richard Thompson to Bob Dylan. They may also from time to time throw in one or two self penned masterpieces. So if your looking for a good time band who play good time music with energy and passion (who writes this rubbish?) Then check out Strange Triangle the next time they play your favorite watering hole and if there not playing your local ask the landlord WHY!! Then tell him to give the boys in the band a call and we guaranteee a good time! and thats just US!
